Find Skill

Purpose

Search skill marketplaces and open-source repositories for skills matching a topic. Evaluate compatibility with the singularskills format and install if suitable.

Usage

Example:

/singular-find-skill flutter widget testing

What It Does

1. 01

   Searches skills.sh, GitHub, and other sources for matching SKILL.md files
2. 02

   Evaluates compatibility (frontmatter format, structure, conventions)
3. 03

   Reviews before installing: shows the candidate's frontmatter and first 40 lines, scans for instructions that fetch URLs, run shell commands, write outside the current project, or tell the assistant to ignore or override its instructions, and asks for explicit confirmation (Install this skill? (yes/no)) before proceeding
4. 04

   If compatible: installs directly to .claude/skills/<skill-name>/SKILL.md
5. 05

   If partially compatible: adapts to singularskills conventions, then installs
6. 06

   If nothing found: suggests /singular-create-skill instead

Where Skills Are Installed

Custom skills are installed to:

.claude/skills/<skill-name>/SKILL.md

The skill is available as /<name> in the next Claude Code session.
