Understand audience, competitors, positioning, and pricing before any marketing activity.
Purpose
The Strategy phase establishes the marketing foundation. Before running any campaigns or creating content, you need to understand who you're marketing to, how you're positioned, and what success looks like.

Customer Research

Competitor Profiling
/marketing:competitor-profiling <topic>Maps the competitive landscape. Profiles 5-8 competitors, analyzes strengths and weaknesses, identifies market gaps and differentiation opportunities.

Competitor Alternatives
/marketing:competitor-alternatives <topic>Develops "vs" comparison and "alternatives to" content strategy. Creates feature comparison matrices and positioning angles per competitor.

Pricing Strategy
/marketing:pricing-strategy <topic>Evaluates pricing models, tier structures, and packaging. Analyzes competitor pricing and applies pricing psychology principles.

Product Marketing Context
/marketing:product-marketing-context <topic>Defines the core positioning statement, value proposition, messaging framework, and go-to-market context. Compiles all strategy work into a marketing brief.
